Course Description This course presents the principles and application of moral decision-making in a business context. Ethical principles are examined and evaluated through the lens of God's Word and applied to modern business decision-making. The focus of the course is the relationship of biblically informed norms, values and virtues to culture and society, and the application of this in specific organizational settings. (Three credit hours)Course Objectives. As a result of completing this course, the student will: 1. Demonstrate a knowledge of the various ethical theories and concepts utilized in making ethical decisions and developing Christian character 2. Identify ethical issues within a ministry or organizational context. 3. Examine effective ethical business decision-making processes. 4. Evaluate complex ethical business decision-making issues and the subsequent consequences. 5. Assess sound ministry and organizational ethical business policies.
