This program capstone course aims to equip students with hands-on, practical skills essential for effective youth ministry. The course focuses on the real-world application of theories and concepts in youth ministry within a church setting. Students will engage in practical projects, case studies, and internships that highlight the integration of biblical principles, discipleship methods, and administrative strategies into everyday ministry activities. This immersive experience will prepare students to effectively address contemporary challenges and opportunities in youth ministry, emphasizing adaptability, strategic planning, and spiritual guidance. As a result of completing this course, the student will: 1. Apply Biblical and Theological Principles: Utilize biblical and theological foundations to guide practical decision-making and problem-solving in youth ministry scenarios. 2. Implement Discipleship Programs: Design, implement, and assess youth discipleship programs that are responsive to the spiritual needs and cultural contexts of adolescents. 3. Develop Strategic Ministry Plans: Create comprehensive ministry plans that incorporate effective administrative strategies, resource management, and volunteer coordination. 4. Engage in Reflective Practice: Regularly evaluate and reflect on the effectiveness of ministry initiatives, integrating feedback to improve personal leadership skills and ministry outcomes. 5. Navigate Contemporary Challenges: Apply learned concepts from previous courses to navigate and address current social, cultural, and technological challenges affecting youth ministry. 6.
