This course examines the message and significance of the Old Testament Prophets within their historical and literary contexts. Students explore the structure and themes of both the Major and Minor Prophets, with emphasis on covenant faithfulness, judgment, repentance, and future hope. Attention is given to the prophetic call to address sin and injustice while pointing toward restoration and the coming Messiah. By learning to interpret prophetic literature accurately, students develop the ability to communicate its message with clarity and relevance, equipping them to address contemporary spiritual and cultural issues with biblical conviction.
