This course explores the New Testament General Epistles, focusing on their message for Christian belief and practice. Students examine authorship, audience, and purpose while engaging key themes such as perseverance, holiness, truth, and community life. Attention is given to how these letters address real challenges faced by the early church and how those same issues persist today. By studying these epistles in their historical and literary contexts, students develop the ability to interpret and apply their teachings faithfully, strengthening their capacity for discipleship, spiritual formation, and biblically grounded ministry.
