PM 541: Spiritual Formation in Digital Context
3.00 Credit Hours
The foundation and process of spiritual formation is based on God’s work in every believer to transform them into the likeness of Christ. Informed by that perspective this course explores the changing landscape of ministry driven by technology. This change is moving congregations from participation to engagement, but still requires a biblical model of spiritual formation that encompasses all possible ministry contexts and communication channels. As is said, the means have changed but the message has not. Spiritual Formation in Digital Context explores spiritual development practices, grounded in the Christian tradition, that sustain and nurture a life-long pursuit of union with God, but does so in the context of an ever-changing digital world. 3 Credits.Course Objectives.
