PM 847: Visionary Leadership and Organizational Change

Course Description: This course examines the role of visionary leadership in driving organizational change within a ministry context. Students will study biblical examples of visionary leaders and explore contemporary theories and practices of change management. Emphasis is placed on aligning organizational vision with biblical values and effectively leading change initiatives. As a result of completing this course, the student will: 1. Identify and analyze the characteristics of visionary leaders in the Bible. 2. Develop a biblical framework for creating and communicating organizational vision. 3. Evaluate contemporary theories of change management in light of biblical principles. 4. Design strategies for leading organizational change that align with biblical values. 5. Assess the impact of visionary leadership on organizational culture and mission.
