APOL353: Apologetics and the Gospel

  • 3 Credit Hours

  • Online

This course explores the relationship between apologetics and the proclamation of the gospel. Students examine the historical foundations of the Christian message, including the life of Jesus, the resurrection, and the witness of the early church. Emphasis is placed on integrating apologetic method with gospel-centered communication in order to remove intellectual barriers to belief. Through study and application, students develop the ability to defend the truth of the gospel while clearly presenting Christ as the hope of salvation in a way that is both faithful to Scripture and compelling to contemporary audiences.
