This doctoral-level course is designed to equip aspiring Christian education leaders with the advanced knowledge and skills necessary to effectively lead and manage Christian education ministries. Building upon foundational principles of Christian education, this course delves into the practical aspects of leadership, including strategic planning, program development, personnel management, and financial stewardship. Students will explore contemporary challenges and opportunities in Christian education, such as technological advancements, cultural shifts, and intergenerational ministry. Through case studies, simulations, and real-world projects, students will develop the ability to make informed decisions, solve complex problems, and implement innovative solutions. This course will prepare leaders to inspire, equip, and empower others to fulfill the Great Commission through effective Christian education. Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:1. Articulate a comprehensive vision and mission for a Christian education ministry aligned with biblical principles. 2. Design, implement and develop curriculum for innovative Christian education programs for various age groups and contexts. 3. Evaluate best practices for recruiting, hiring, and training qualified Christian education staff. 4. Develop and manage budgets for Christian education ministries. 5. Demonstrate integrity, honesty, and transparency in all aspects of ministry leadership. 6. Develop effective communication strategies to promote ministry initiatives.
