This course is designed to equip students with the foundational skills and tools for effective and meaningful Bible study. Through a combination of interactive lectures, group discussions, and practical exercises, students will explore various study methods, including observation, interpretation, and application. By the end of the course, students will be able to confidently approach Scripture, gain deeper insights into God's Word, and apply biblical truths to their lives and ministry. As a result of completing this course, the student will: 1. Articulate the value of consistent and intentional engagement with Scripture. 2. Develop foundational Bible study skills such as observation, interpretation, and application of biblical texts. 3. Appraise a variety of Bible study approaches and be able to select and utilize methods that best suit their learning styles and needs. 4. Demonstrate the ability to analyze biblical texts, consider different interpretations, and evaluate the validity of various viewpoints. 5. Apply biblical truths to personal life and ministry.
