PM 246: Work, Vocation, and Ministry

In this course students learn biblical concepts that directly apply to work, vocation, and ministry situations. As a result of completing this course, the student will: 1. Articulate a theological understanding of work as worship and stewardship. 2. Develop strategies to integrate personal faith into daily work and vocational responsibilities. 3. Identify individual gifts, skills, and passions as part of discerning God's vocational calling. 4. Reflect on the relationship between ministry, vocation, and the flourishing of communities. 5. Develop practical applications of rest as a spiritual discipline in vocational and ministry settings. 6. Assess how biblical leadership principles shape relationships, influence, and service. 7. Examine how faith can sustain individuals through seasons of vocational or ministry challenges. 8. Create a personal plan to align work, ministry, and vocation with biblical priorities and values.
