Associate of Biblical Studies Program Overview

The Associates of Biblical Studies (ABS) degree is intended for undergrad students interested in an entry-level introduction to many disciplines within the Christian realm. It is designed to produce a well-rounded student, who upon completing the program, will have been introduced to the Bible, biblical interpretation, discipleship, and a variety of general education subjects. The program is 62 semesters hours in length. There are 18 three semester hour courses, and 2 four semester courses. The program includes ten general education courses, making this degree acceptable for many colleges towards a bachelor’s degree. After completion of the associate’s degree, students have the option to enroll directly into the BBS degree. Most importantly, this degree is designed not just for the sake of knowledge, but to build a student’s spiritual maturity and prepare them for ministry challenges at home, in their community, at work, and at church.
