MINS140: Christian Evangelism
3 Credit Hours
Online
This course equips students to understand and embrace the mission of God (missio Dei) and their role as followers of Christ within it. Evangelism is not merely the proclamation of the gospel but the embodiment of Christ’s presence through word and deed. Students will explore the biblical foundation of God’s mission, examining how believers are called to serve as salt, light, and ambassadors, pointing others to Jesus. Special attention will be given to evaluating diverse facets of evangelism, including incarnational witness, relational engagement, and proclamation. Throughout the course, students will integrate theology with practice, discerning how to join God’s ongoing work in their unique contexts. The course culminates in the creation of a personal evangelism plan, challenging each student to articulate and commit to concrete steps for living missionally. By the end of the course, students will be equipped to leave Cornerstone College and Seminary as faithful participants in God’s redemptive mission.
