CHHI245: Christian History

This course surveys the history of Christianity through key turning points that have shaped the Church over two millennia. Students will examine moments of theological conflict, cultural challenge, reform, and renewal that significantly altered the Church’s life and witness. Attention is given to how the Church has responded to external pressures and internal struggles, and how Christ has faithfully preserved His Church through periods of crisis. By exploring recurring patterns across Christian history, students will gain perspective on contemporary challenges and learn to apply historical insight to Christian faith, discipleship, and ministry today.
