MATH210: Math for Ministry
3 Credit Hours
Online
This course explores mathematics as both a universal language and a reflection of God’s orderly design in creation. Students will examine how mathematical principles reveal the nature and attributes of God, highlighting His logic, precision, and consistency. Emphasis is placed on developing a biblical worldview of mathematics in which the student will learn to see numbers, patterns, and equations not as human inventions but as discoveries of divine truth woven into creation. Beyond theory, students will apply mathematical reasoning to practical areas of ministry such as budgeting, facility planning, stewardship, and strategic decision-making. Through problem-solving, evaluation, and reflection, students will gain both confidence and competence in using mathematics to serve effectively in life and ministry. By the end of the course, students will understand how quantitative thinking strengthens wise stewardship and glorifies the Creator who established the laws of order and math.
